Meet Desireé M. Dent

Desireé Moore Dent, the driving force behind Dejanae Events LLC, is an award-winning wedding and event planner, educator, author, and officiant with 25 years of industry experience. As a sought-after speaker and mentor, she empowers professionals and couples alike through her expertise and passion for creating unforgettable celebrations.

Desireé has inspired audiences at prestigious events, including The Signature CEO Conference, the Association of Bridal Consultants' World of Weddings Annual Conference, the Wedding Industry Professionals Association (WIPA), and on national platforms like CNBC’s The News with Shepard Smith, where she shared insights on navigating “COVID Weddings.”

As an educator, Desireé contributes to the industry’s growth as a Wedding Pro Educator for The Knot WeddingWire Worldwide and as an instructor for the Wedding and Event Planning Certification program in collaboration with ABC/Lovegevity’s Wedding Planning Institute.
