  1. What is a collective/group wedding, and how does it work?
    A collective/group wedding is a beautifully organized ceremony where multiple couples exchange vows in a shared celebration. Each couple enjoys a romantic ceremony, followed by a formal reception with food, drinks, and dancing. Dejanae Events will take care of all the planning…you just show up and say, "I do!"

  2. Who will officiate the ceremony?

    None other than Desireé Dent, Founder of the award-winning planning firm Dejanae Events, and Nationwide Wedding Officiant at Marry Me Ceremonies.

  3. Where will the ceremony and celebration be held?

    At Crate and Barrel, Oak Brook, Illinois, on their Terrace. This will be the first wedding at Crate and Barrel.

  4. Are guests included in the package pricing?
    Yes! The couple, plus 6 of their closest family and friends.

  5. What forms of payment are accepted?
    All major credit cards and ACH are accepted.

  6. What is included in the wedding reception?
    Every couple and their guests will enjoy a personalized, beautifully decorated tablescape, a formal reception dinner, a beer and wine bar, a personal dessert, and a professionally taken wedding portrait.

  7. Do we need to obtain our marriage license beforehand?
    Yes, couples are responsible for obtaining their own marriage license before the event. Instructions on obtaining your Illinois Marriage License will be sent 60 days before the celebration. Our officiant, Desireé Dent, will sign and mail the license after the ceremony.

  8. How do we secure our spot, and what is the payment process?
    Space is limited, and reservations are required. A non-refundable retainer is needed to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due by a specified deadline. Payment plans are available. Contact us for details and any questions at Desiree@DejanaeEvents.com.
