What does Dejanae Events actually do?
A lot more than show up on your wedding day with a clipboard! Our team handles the planning, logistics, vendor communication, timelines, details, and behind-the-scenes problem-solving that keep your event moving. We take what you've envisioned and help turn it into an organized, well-executed experience.
Do you only plan weddings?
No! Dejanae Events is a wedding and event planning company, and our work extends well beyond weddings. We plan and produce social celebrations, corporate events, milestone celebrations and other special occasions.
Where does the DE Team work?
We're based in Chicago and serve clients throughout the Chicagoland area and beyond. Planning an event outside of Chicago? Let's talk. Our team is available for select events outside the area and nationwide.
When should we hire Dejanae Events?
As early as possible for full-service planning, especially if you have a specific date or venue in mind. Need Wedding Direction? We typically come on board about eight weeks before the wedding. Need guidance somewhere in the middle? Don't wait until you're overwhelmed. Let's talk about where you are and what you need.
How do we get started?
Start by filling out our inquiry form. From there, we'll learn more about your event, talk through what you need and determine which Dejanae Events service is the right fit. We don't believe in putting every client into the same box.
How much do your services cost?
Every wedding and event is different, so there isn't one price that fits everyone. Your investment depends on the service, guest count, location, complexity and level of involvement you need. We'll talk about your event first, then recommend the service and investment that make sense for you.
Is Dejanae Events just Desireé?
Nope. And this is an important one. Desireé Dent is the founder and the heart behind Dejanae Events, but she doesn't do it alone. The DE Team works together behind the scenes and on event days to plan, coordinate, produce and execute your event. When you hire Dejanae Events, you're gaining the experience, organization and support of a team.
