Catherine & Johnnie’s Elegant Black Tie Wedding at Pazzo’s Chicago

Catherine and Johnnie brought timeless style and lively energy to their September wedding at Pazzo’s Chicago, a venue known for its soaring architecture and unforgettable atmosphere. With about 160 guests in attendance, their day was the perfect blend of classic elegance and vibrant celebration.

Before heading to Pazzo’s, Catherine and Johnnie shared a private first look at The LaSalle Hotel, a stunning downtown Chicago property that added a luxurious touch to their day. The quiet, refined atmosphere made it the perfect place for them to slow down, take in the moment, and enjoy a few minutes together before the celebration began. Their photographer, Dominique of Artistic Elegance Photography, captured the joy and emotion of that reveal, giving them some of their favorite images from the entire wedding.

Catherine and Johnnie’s ceremony took place in the Atrium at Pazzo’s, set directly in front of the iconic Gem of the Lake fountain. Surrounded by natural light and stunning architectural details, the setting created an intimate yet grand backdrop as the couple exchanged heartfelt vows. The beauty of the Atrium made every moment feel cinematic and distinctly Chicago.

While the ceremony area was transformed for the reception, guests enjoyed a warm and welcoming cocktail hour inside Pazzo’s restaurant. This seamless flow gave everyone time to mingle, enjoy cocktails, and take in the venue’s unique charm.

Dinner featured flavorful, Italian-style dishes that perfectly complemented the black tie atmosphere. Once the music started, the celebration shifted into high gear. The dance floor stayed full all evening, especially when Catherine and Johnnie surprised everyone with their Chicago footwork, earning cheers and keeping the party lively until the final song.
